Methods Cafe 2025- Plenary Session ‘The Long and Short of It’
The School of IR Research Methods Café 2025 (open to PhD students from all schools), designed specifically for PhD students, will once again be held in Lower College Hall on Wednesday 19 March, from 13.00 – 16.30, with buffet lunch and refreshments provided. This showcase event offers an opportunity for all PGRs to discuss research and writing methods with peers and faculty staff
Buffet Lunch: 1pm – 1.30pm
Plenary session: The Long and Short of It’ – 1.30pm – 2.15pm
The panel will focus on the different approaches they take when writing short pieces (policy documents, articles etc) to longer pieces (thesis, books etc)
10 Roundtable Discussions (2.15pm – 4.30pm) – 2 sessions, topics include
